Job summary

Aon is seeking an Executive Benefits Specialist to administer nonqualified deferred compensation plans and related programs. The role involves working with sponsors, executive participants, recordkeepers, and internal teams to deliver accurate, timely service.

Ideal candidates have experience in NQDC or related retirement, executive compensation, or recordkeeping environments and excel at data reconciliation and client service.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in nonqualified deferred compensation or executive benefit plan administration.
• Experience in qualified retirement or pension plan administration, recordkeeping, or participant services is a plus.
• Familiarity with plan provisions, payroll data, and data reconciliation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer recurring NQDC plan activities: enrollment, deferral elections, vesting, distributions, and data changes.
• Interpret plan provisions and respond to sponsor and participant questions.
• Coordinate data with payroll, recordkeepers, trustees, carriers, and internal partners.
• Reconcile data, investigate discrepancies, and drive issues to resolution.
• Prepare client reports, participant communications, enrollment materials, and calendars.
• Maintain plan documentation and audit support materials.
• Use Excel and databases to validate data and produce reports.
• Manage multiple client deliverables with strong quality controls and confidentiality.
• Identify process improvements to improve accuracy, efficiency and client experience.
