Job summary

Aon is seeking an Executive Benefits Specialist to administer nonqualified deferred compensation (NQDC) plans and related executive programs. You will collaborate with plan sponsors, executive participants, payroll teams, and internal partners to deliver accurate, timely, and high-touch service.

The strongest candidates have 2–5 years of NQDC or related retirement plan administration experience and solid Excel skills.

Qualifications

2–5 years in nonqualified deferred compensation or executive benefits.
Ability to reconcile detailed plan, financial, payroll, or participant data.
Intermediate Excel with formulas, lookups, filters, sorting, data validation.

Responsibilities

Administer NQDC plan activities including enrollment, deferrals, vesting, distributions.
Interpret plan provisions and respond to sponsor/participant questions accurately.
Coordinate data with payroll, recordkeepers, trustees, carriers, and internal partners.
Reconcile participant and plan data, investigate discrepancies, and drive resolution.
Prepare client reports, participant communications, enrollment materials, and calendars.
Maintain plan documentation, participant records, procedures, and audit materials.
Use Excel and databases to validate data and support reporting.
Manage multiple client deliverables with strong quality controls and confidentiality.
Identify process improvements to strengthen accuracy and efficiency.
Build knowledge of 409A, COLI, rabbi trusts, and related executive benefit concepts.
