Job summary

The Embassy Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, seeks a Restaurant and Room Service Director to lead daily operations across breakfast, lunch, and dinner programs. You will oversee bar and room service, drive guest satisfaction, and ensure compliant, high-quality service.

Applicants should have two years post-high school education and at least two years in a related role; hotel experience and strong supervision/communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of post-high school education.
• Two+ years of full employment in a related position.
• Hotel experience preferred; supervisory and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of restaurant and room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Manage human resources across outlets: hire, schedule, train, coach and discipline when needed.
• Forecast, monitor and report budgets to maximize revenue and control costs.
• Ensure compliance with LSOPs/SOPs and safety regulations for quality service.
