Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a hotel housekeeping team member for the Embassy Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort. This role maintains guest areas, cleans rooms and corridors, and supports the hotel’s commitment to a safe, welcoming environment.

Candidates should have hotel experience, a professional appearance, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs while delivering excellent guest service. The position requires reliability and teamwork in a busy hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be a team player and able to assist coworkers.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Able to communicate well with guests, both verbally and in writing.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants.
• Empty carts of soiled linen and trash.
• Clean and spot-clean corridors, doors, and mirrors.
• Polish and clean room numbers, elevator doors and other fixtures.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop hallways and stairwells.
• Assist with moving furniture and flipping mattresses as needed.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other duties related to housekeeping as assigned.
