You will lead menu development and execution for onsite events, including luncheons, cocktail receptions, and exclusive dinners, while guiding a culinary team with efficiency and grace. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, strong communication, and a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications

• Manage day and night operations for events with ~10 staff.
• Lead, train, and mentor the culinary team.
• Develop training procedures and menu creation with Executive Chef.
• Maintain top food quality and comply with health regulations.
• Flexible Mon-Fri schedule with limited weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day and night operations of all catered events with ~10 staff.
• Assist with planning and staffing of kitchen for events.
• Develop and execute training procedures and objectives.
• Collaborate on menus, staffing, and admin with Executive Chef.
• Maintain highest standards of food quality and sanitation.
• Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and liaise with facilities management.
• Adhere to sanitation principles and health regulations.
• Fill in for preparation duties during absences.
• Respond to last-minute executive demands as needed.
• Assist with food ordering and vendor relations; research new vendors.
• Contribute to quality control of products and participate in taste panels.
