Mercer University's College of Pharmacy on the Atlanta campus seeks an Executive Assistant to the Dean to provide high-level administrative support. The role manages the Dean’s calendar, coordinates travel, drafts correspondence, and maintains records.

Mercer University's College of Pharmacy is searching for an Executive Assistant to the Dean on the Atlanta, Georgia campus.
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and one year of prior administrative support experience is required. In lieu of education, equivalent directly relevant experience, preferably as an administrative or executive assistant, will be considered.
Knowledge of scheduling, record-keeping, and administrative workflows.
Familiarity with expense tracking, procurement, and basic financial reporting.
Awareness of FERPA regulations and institutional confidentiality standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, calendar management systems, and virtual meeting platforms.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and complex schedules efficiently.
Strong written and verbal communication for drafting correspondence and reports.
Skilled at anticipating needs, resolving scheduling conflicts, and handling unexpected issues.
Ability to plan and execute meetings, conferences, and special events.
Competence in data entry, document formatting, and using collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom).
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.
Ability to build positive relationships with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
Working knowledge of software systems (e.g., Workday, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documents, schedules, communication, etc.
Ability to work collaboratively.
Ability to compile, analyze, and present data accurately.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and make sound administrative decisions.
