Brown Advisory is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Private Client Team in our Washington, DC office. The role requires handling confidential matters with maturity and discretion, managing calendars, communications, and travel, and producing high-quality documents and reports using PowerPoint and Excel.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of EA experience, advanced MS Office skills, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to senior management.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Illustrates tact, discretion, and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional support to Brown Advisory team members, clients, vendors, and other external contacts.
  • Proactively anticipate the needs of the team and improve processes and efficiency.
  • Manage multiple priorities with strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate executive communications, scheduling, travel, and prioritization of requests.
  • Prepare and edit documents, presentations, spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
