Job summary

Olympic Medical Center on the North Olympic Peninsula is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Nursing Officer. This role works closely with the CEO, assistants and medical staff, supporting critical leadership operations.

Ideal candidates have healthcare experience, strong minute-taking and confidentiality skills, and proven ability to manage complex calendars, correspondence and meeting materials in a professional

Qualifications

• Two years health care setting preferred, minimum of two years secretarial/administrative assistant experience in a professional office setting.
• Experience in letter composition, minute-taking, organizing, prioritizing and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Nursing Officer.
• Interact with the Chief Executive Officer, Assistant Administrators and medical staff on a regular basis.

Job Description

Under general supervision, the Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Nursing Officer. This position is highly visible and has frequent contact with the Chief Executive Officer, Assistant Administrators and medical staff.

Education

• High school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of two years of higher education with course work in business, writing, English grammar, office management, document composition, communication, time-management, general mathematics and organizational skills preferred.

Experience

• Two years health care setting preferred, minimum of two years secretarial/administrative assistant experience in a professional office setting.
• Experience in letter composition, minute-taking, organizing, prioritizing and maintaining confidentiality.
