Job summary

WealthPlus is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the CEO in a fast-moving fintech startup. This entry-level role is based in the Midtown Manhattan office, full-time, five days a week, coordinating a broad range of professional and personal priorities to keep the CEO’s day running smoothly.

The successful candidate is highly organized, discreet, and capable of managing complex calendars, drafting executive communications, and partnering with the Chief of Staff on cross-functional tasks.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate with the drive and organization to grow into the role.
  • Ability to coordinate with finance on expenses and reimbursements.
  • Ability to manage a complex executive calendar and competing priorities with sound judgment.
  • Excellent written communication and drafting on executive's behalf.
  • High discretion handling confidential information.
  • Proficient in Outlook/Word/Teams and quick to adopt new tools.
  • Autonomous, proactive task execution without close oversight.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to work directly alongside our CEO. This is a full-scope support role for someone who operates as a true right hand — anticipating needs, managing a wide range of professional and personal priorities, and keeping the CEO's day running seamlessly. You'll thrive here if you're highly organized, discreet, and comfortable with the shifting priorities of a fast-moving startup. This is an in-office role, 5 days a week, based at our Midtown Manhattan office.


Key Responsibilities

Executive Partnership & CEO Support

  • Serve as a trusted right hand to the CEO, anticipating needs and managing competing priorities to keep the day running seamlessly
  • Manage the CEO's inbox and communications, screening, drafting, and responding on their behalf where appropriate
  • Provide comprehensive support across the CEO's professional and personal commitments & logistics
  • Partner closely with the Chief of Staff on day-to-day coordination and cross-functional follow-through

Administrative & Project Support

  • Manage expense reporting, reimbursements, and receipt organization
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Lead and support ad hoc projects for the CEO as needed

Keeping the Office Running

  • Ensure the office is well-run day to day — kitchen and supplies stocked, common areas in order, and orders placed and tracked as needed
  • Greet and direct visitors, candidates, and guests
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Coordinate with building management and vendors on routine maintenance and service requests

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required

  • Recent graduate with the drive and organization to grow into the role
  • Ability to coordinate with finance on expenses, reimbursements, and receipt reconciliation
  • Ability to manage a complex executive calendar and competing priorities with sound, independent judgment
  • Excellent written communication; skilled at drafting and managing correspondence on an executive's behalf
  • High degree of discretion and sound judgment handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Teams) and comfort adopting new tools quickly
  • Ability to operate proactively and autonomously — anticipating needs and driving tasks to completion without close oversight

Preferred

  • Familiarity with fintech
  • Experience coordinating both professional and personal logistics for an executive
  • Prior experience managing office operations, vendor coordination, or supply ordering
