Job description

Executive Assistant to Managing Partner - Be the force behind the firm’s leader
Own the schedule. Guard the time. Keep the firm moving.

You’ll be the right hand to the Managing Partner of a growing boutique law firm, orchestrating their day so they can focus on leading, advising, and growing the practice.

This isn’t a generic admin role. You’re the gatekeeper, problem-solver, and trusted partner who keeps a high-powered legal practice running smoothly.

You’ll manage complex calendars, sensitive communications, and high-stakes meetings with attorneys and clients who expect excellence.

If you’re a polished Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced professional services environment and loves working at the center of the action, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Work On

You’ll sit at the nerve center of the firm’s leadership, supporting the Managing Partner across:

  • Executive-level calendar and time management
  • Client, attorney, and leadership meetings
  • High-touch communication and correspondence
  • Travel, itineraries, and expenses
  • Confidential legal and business matters
  • Firm events and special projects
  • Meeting prep, agendas, and follow-ups
  • Presentation and document preparation

You’ll work heavily in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Your core challenge: keep a demanding, high-visibility practice organized, protected, and always one step ahead.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Providing comprehensive executive support to the Managing Partner
  • Managing a complex calendar of meetings, calls, and key deadlines
  • Coordinating internal and external meetings with attorneys, clients, and other professionals
  • Preparing and organizing meeting materials, presentations, correspondence, and reports
  • Screening and prioritizing incoming emails, phone calls, and requests
  • Arranging travel, building itineraries, and processing expense reports
  • Preparing agendas, taking detailed meeting notes, and tracking action items
  • Coordinating firm events, client meetings, and other special projects
  • Maintaining and protecting highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Serving as a liaison between the Managing Partner, attorneys, clients, and staff
  • Helping manage competing priorities to ensure deadlines and commitments are met
  • Supporting additional administrative and special projects for firm leadership
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years as an Executive Assistant, Senior Legal Assistant, or similar support role
  • Experience directly supporting a senior executive, Managing Partner, Partner, or C-suite leader
  • Background in a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Proven discretion with confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and exercise sound judgment
  • Professional, polished, and personable demeanor
The Experience That Will Really Get Our Attention

You’re the one people trust with their inbox, their calendar, and their reputation. You’ve successfully supported demanding partners or executives, kept them on track, and earned a seat at the table through reliability and judgment.

You’re proactive, not reactive — you see around corners, stay calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoy working closely with leadership and high-end clients in a discreet, professional manner.

Why This Opportunity?

This is your chance to be more than “support” — you’ll be a central, trusted partner to the Managing Partner of a growing boutique firm.

You’ll work directly with senior-level attorneys and sophisticated clients, in a role where your organization, polish, and judgment make a visible impact every single day.

If you like owning the details so firm leadership can focus on strategy and clients, this role puts you exactly where you belong: at the heart of the operation.

An Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace. We celebrate the unique contributions that each team member brings to our organization.
