Responsibilities

  • Provide extensive administrative support for partners and president: booking travel, scheduling meetings, preparing expense reports, registering for conferences and networking events.
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and handle correspondence.
  • Assist with the invoicing process for clients.
  • Manage general office operations, including ordering supplies and day-to-day upkeep.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for employees and escalate issues as needed.
  • Reserve conference rooms and coordinate catering for meetings.
  • Track and reorder pantry items before they run out.
  • Flag facilities issues quickly and follow through on next steps.
  • Assist other teams with event support as needed.
  • Staff office meetings and events as required.

Job description

Responsibilities for this role will include:
  • Providing extensive administrative support for our partners and president: booking travel, scheduling meetings, preparing expense reports, registering for conferences and networking events, and other general administrative needs.
  • Answering phones, greeting visitors, and handling correspondence.
  • Assisting with the invoicing process for clients.
  • Managing general office operations, including ordering office supplies and day-to-day upkeep of the office.
  • Serving as a visible, reliable point of contact for employees with day-to-day office needs or questions, escalating issues when needed.
  • Reserving conference rooms and coordinating with external catering companies to provide catering for meetings.
  • Tracking and reordering office pantry items before they run out.
  • Flagging facilities issues quickly and following through on next steps until they're resolved.
  • Assisting additional teams on event support as needed.
  • Staffing office meetings and events as needed.

Salary range is $55,000-$65,000 per year depending on your experience level, and includes health insurance and a 401(k). The position is in-person at our office in midtown Manhattan.

Requirements for this role are:
  • A college degree.
  • An interest in Democratic politics.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, including experience managing calendars on Google Calendar.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
