Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach is seeking an experienced executive assistant to support the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President. The role requires delivering high-level secretarial services, coordinating calendars, and ensuring efficient operations of the executive office.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in an executive setting, strong discretion, and proficiency with MS Office.

We welcome all healthcare professionals to join our thriving community and contribute to our pursuit for clinical excellence.Department:Job Description Summary:Position ResponsibilitiesProvides direct secretarial support to the Chief Operating Officer and/or Vice President.Contributes to the smooth operations of the executive office by personally providing service to other executives when their respective assistant is on vacation or out ill as necessary.Makes minor decisions on administrative activities as needed using good judgment and common sense.Handles situations with administrators, co-workers and patients, while using discretion and common sense.Orders office supplies and dietary supplies taking monthly turns with the other secretarial staff but oversees all of the ordering to be certain that an adequate supply level is kept.Reads and understands all paperwork that comes across desk to enable more effective working relationships with Chief Operating Officer and/or Vice President.Opens all incoming mail and arranges in a manner acceptable to Chief Operating Officer and/or Vice President.
