Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Deployment Strategist to bridge customer problems with technical solutions, owning the engagement from discovery to production launch and adoption. You will write the MVP, guide the engineering team, and be the product manager for the field.

You will build executive trust, map political/technical landscapes, and scope value for multi-million-dollar opportunities while partnering with FDEs to ensure production-ready outcomes.

Qualifications

• Executive presence and communication with C-suite and stakeholders.
• Define what to build, write strong product requirements, and manage scope.
• Deep understanding of modern data/AI architectures, cloud platforms, data pipelines, and security.
• Hands-on ability to explore data, review code/pipelines, and build prototypes.
• Typically 7+ years delivering complex, customer-facing data/AI engagements or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to perform deep discovery and map customer organization.
• Write the PRD and guide engineering through the MVP and production rollout.
• Drive agile delivery, coordinate across stakeholders from C-suite to engineers.
• Own Day 0 launch, production readiness, data quality, security, and ops.
• Codify reusable patterns and feed insights back to Product/Engineering.
