Xylem Milpitas, CA is seeking an Executive Sales Representative to sell products, services, and solutions, focusing on post-sale satisfaction, retention, and growth. You will engage new and existing customers, deliver quotes, and present demos to drive recurring business and long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities include CRM-based forecasting, staying current on tech, and leading webinars and events to generate opportunities. Travel is extensive locally and occasionally out of state.
The Executive Sales Representative sells products, services and solutions to customers and acts as point of contact post-sale, focusing on ongoing customer satisfaction, retention, and growing business year over year. Light Industry Sales (LIT) team, which provides a complete line of pretreatment, generation, storage, and distribution solutions for high purity and wastewater applications in aerospace, beverage, government, health sciences, microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, universities, labs, and general industry
Contacts both new and existing customers to sell new and recurring business
Creates and delivers quotes and proposals to deliver to customers
Ensures customer satisfaction and retention
Accurately records information in CRM for forecasting
Continues to stay up to date on company and customer technology to remain a trusted partner
Conducts Sales Presentations and Product Demos
Facilitates new customer engagements (Webinars, Lunch & Learns, Trade Shows, etc.)
Extremely complex sales of products and services; utilizes strong knowledge of products, services, and industry to evaluate and recommend best solutions to customers
Other duties as assigned
1. FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent 4-7 years of experience Preferred: BA/BS
2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required:
Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing
Mastery of sales techniques and an expert of company offerings
Experience related high purity and wastewater applications to beverage, government, health sciences, microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, universities, labs, and general industry
Deep knowledge within a particular product line or vertical market
Comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated ability to engage in collaborative selling
Must have an acceptable driving record to be insurable to drive for company business
Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems
Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Travel required: Extensive local and occasional out of state for training
The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
