Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Account Partner Director for Public Sector PS in the Washington, DC area to align Salesforce teams, drive multi-year government engagements, and expand the Salesforce footprint across agencies. Strong leadership, government contracting experience, and US citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading customer experience, digitization, or transformation programs.
• Experience selling and/or delivering Professional Services in a Salesforce or Global System Integrator environment.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance; DC Metro area resident.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end client relationship for assigned accounts, serving as primary steward of program success, delivery health, and expansion strategy.
• Conduct unified "One Salesforce" account pursuits—aligning License Sales, Product, and Customer Success—to chart a path for digital and agentic transformation.
• Bridge the gap between a client's strategic goals and high-stakes execution, driving bookings and software consumption.
• Lead and shape Professional Services pursuits, proposals, and commercial constructs for multi-million dollar engagements; coach account teams on sales discipline.
• Navigate government delivery, funding, and procurement environments, including budget alignment and governance for US State programs.
• Serve as an escalation point for at-risk engagements, partnering with delivery leadership to manage risk and trust.
• Represent Salesforce Professional Services at the executive level with clients and internally.
