Black & Veatch is seeking an Execution Director for Water to provide regional leadership and growth. You will align selling and delivery, advance priority client relationships, and deliver profitable, safe projects across the full lifecycle.

You will lead seller‑doer teams, shape strategic pursuits, and drive governance, pricing, and risk management while building high‑performing professionals and expanding the customer base.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales, marketing, or project delivery in water/engineering sectors.
• Technical understanding of municipal and industrial water markets and trends.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; master’s degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading client engagement, seller‑doer teams, and strategic pursuits.
• Strong communication, strategic thinking, and financial literacy.

Responsibilities

• Sets regional new business budgets and delivers on growth goals.
• Cultivates strategic relationships with priority clients, partners and senior stakeholders.
• Drives integrated account plans to achieve high client satisfaction and profitable growth.
• Leads client engagement, balancing sales and project delivery with governance.
• Identifies differentiated regional water solutions based on market needs and BV capabilities.
• Leads strategic pursuits including pricing, contracting, and risk management.
• Develops high‑performing regional teams and supports professional development.
• Ensures safety, quality, and timely project execution while controlling costs.
