Job summary

Aon Corporation is seeking an Excess Casualty Broker, Vice President in the United States. This role will focus on reviewing client exposures and loss experience, and developing tailored renewal and placement strategies for primary and umbrella/excess liability.

You will lead submissions, negotiate with carriers, evaluate quotes, and present coverage, pricing, and program recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant insurance P&C business experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in Casualty (Workers Compensation, Auto Liability, General Liability, Umbrella/Excess Liability).
• Broad relationships with carriers writing casualty P&C business.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client risks and loss experience, and develop renewal and placement strategies.
• Lead the marketing process: submissions, carrier negotiations, quotes, and covering program recommendations.
• Manage the placement lifecycle: order-to-bind, policy reviews, and resolution of open items and underwriting requirements.
• Build strong relationships with clients, carriers, underwriters, and internal teams to deliver service and market intelligence.
• Provide market insights on conditions, carrier appetites, pricing trends, and coverage developments.
• Collaborate with account executives and client teams to support retention and new business opportunities.
• Articulate the value of brokering in client strategy discussions and fee arrangements; mentor colleagues.
