Job summary

Ascendo Resources seeks a Billing & AR Specialist to join its finance team supporting retail operations. You will create and distribute client invoices, manipulate data in Excel, and upload files into Oracle. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail, with excellent communication and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional work experience.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills to manipulate and analyze data.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is a plus but not required.
• Eager to learn, highly trainable, and engaged in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute accurate client invoices promptly.
• Use Excel to prepare spreadsheets for Oracle uploads.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied cash, and outstanding invoices.
• Process refund requests and provide billing support to internal teams.
• Maintain billing templates for client and vendor data accuracy.
• Create, manage, and close project/event billing with field teams to account for revenue and expenses.
• Generate monthly reports and assist with billing analysis.
• Create work orders from field Business Managers via SharePoint and email.
• Support retail business operations with billing, reporting, and administrative tasks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
