Job summary

Webber, a Ferrovial company, seeks a skilled heavy equipment operator for its Texas projects. You will operate crawler or rubber-tired machines with excavator buckets to excavate ditches, lay pipe, and move rock, supporting safe, efficient site operations.

Expect rigorous safety practices, adherence to OSHA standards, and collaboration with foremen and truck crews on active construction sites. A Texas driver's license and several years of field experience are preferred, with long-term growth

Qualifications

• Texas Driver's License with proper endorsements, depending on assignment.
• Three or more years related construction experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a crawler or rubber-tired machine mounted with an excavator bucket to excavate ditches, structures and mass excavations.
• Load trucks and place rock riprap; perform equipment maintenance as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies, follow foreman instructions, and coordinate with truck drivers and other crew members.
• Support proactive teamwork to meet departmental and company goals and provide leadership by example.
