Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Three or more years related construction experience preferred.
• Texas Drivers License with proper endorsements, depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a crawler or rubber-tired machine mounted with an excavator bucket to excavate ditches, structures and mass excavations, lay pipe and precast concrete structures, load trucks and place rock riprap.
• May be equipped with various hydraulic attachments.
• Signal truck driver to position truck for loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials.
• Take actions to avoid hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.
• Perform routine servicing and adjustments to the equipment as needed.
