Qualifications

• Education: Less than a High School Diploma and related construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a crawler or rubber-tired machine mounted with an excavator bucket and perform digging and mass excavation tasks.
• Load trucks and place rock riprap; assist in laying pipe and precast structures as needed.
• Signal and coordinate with truck drivers to position loads safely.
• Identify hazards and obstructions (utilities, equipment, workers) and adjust operations accordingly.
• Perform routine maintenance or servicing on the equipment as required.
