The Orioli Restaurant Group is seeking an energetic Sous Chef to join their team in Spring, TX. You will assist the Executive Chef with menu planning, costing, and maintaining high service standards across all venues.

You will lead kitchen staff, ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations, and work closely with the events team to meet client requirements and uphold the brand’s culinary standards.

Qualifications

• Pro-active, energetic, standards-driven and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with events and kitchen staff.
• Experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior kitchen role is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Executive Chef with menu planning and costing.
• Ensure preparation and presentation meet current standards and regulations.
• Lead and train the kitchen team on a day-to-day basis.
• Coordinate with events team for upcoming weeks and special catering needs.
• Oversee safety and hygiene across kitchen and ancillary areas.
• Ensure smooth operations in line with booking schedules and client requirements.

The Orioli Restaurant Group is looking for an exceptional Sous Chef to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a pro-active, energetic, standards driven, customer focused Sous Chef with an eye for detail and strong communication skills. You will be a vital part of the future success of our venues with demanding duties, including, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef with the planning and costing of all menus as required.
• Be aware of current trends within the industry and be able to compile menu's that fit in with our food cost and style of service.
• To ensure that the methods of preparation and presentation comply with the current recognized catering standards and legislation.
• Assist the Executive Chef in effectively managing all members of the kitchen food service team on a day to day basis, implementing training and development programs.
• To have a presence in all food service areas to ensure that the catering standards are met and are running in accordance with the booking schedule and all clients requirements are met and exceeded
• To ensure that the company and statutory regulations pertaining to safety and hygiene operations of the kitchen and ancillary areas are adhered to by all members of staff and visitors.
• To liaise in advance with the events team to determine the forthcoming weeks events, numbers and specific catering and operational requirements to support the smooth running of all events
