Job summary

Bally's Interactive is seeking a hands-on housekeeping/Facilities team member to uphold a high standard of guest service and facility cleanliness. You will supervise staff, manage cleaning duties, and ensure adherence to policies while coordinating with team members on promotions and events.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and working weekends/nights. It offers on-site work in a casino environment with union representation and benefits including commute

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality/service environment preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning tasks.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains a service culture that ensures superior guest service by all team members.
• Ensures department adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of all promotions and events.
• Restroom cleaning and maintenance for men’s & women’s facilities.
• Empty trash in restrooms, casino floor, lobby and back of house areas.
• Oversees dining room upkeep and cleanliness.
• Wipes surfaces of machines and maintains floor cleanliness.
• Supervise staff on shift and ensure duties are performed well.
• Hands-on work with staff to enforce cleanliness standards and company policies.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Develops, maintains a service culture that ensures the delivery of superior internal/external guest service by all team members


• Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures


• Knowledge of all promotions and events


• Men’s & women’s restrooms cleaned and maintained


• Empty all trash in restrooms as well as on the casino floor, front lobby areas, and back of the house


• Associate Dinning Room maintained


• Faces, sides, tops and bases of machines wiped clean


• Floor clean of clutter


• Vacuum where designated


• Supervise staff members on your shift


• Ensure all duties and responsibilities are performed to the best of each staff member’s ability


• Work “hands on” with staff to ensure all cleaning duties and procedures, company policies, rules and regulations, and Jumer’s standards of cleanliness are enforced


• Help handle any problem situations with both employees and guests


• Answer radio calls and communicate professionally


• All other duties as assigned


• Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

• Union Representation: This position is represented by IUOE and is subject to the applicable collective bargaining agreement.


• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled


• Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time


• Occasionally required to work at heights above 10 feet high


• Frequently required to lift items up to 30 pounds


• Occasionally required to push or move items up to 100 lbs


• Frequently required to reach overhead

Target Salary Range:

Starting Compensation:

• $18.50/hr
