Job summary

Bally's Dover is seeking a dedicated housekeeping supervisor to oversee daily janitorial operations, maintain a clean, safe casino environment, and uphold Bally's standards of guest service.

You will lead a unionized team under IUOE, coordinate weekend/night shifts, ensure policy compliance, and train staff to deliver high-quality cleanliness and service across all areas.

Starting compensation is $18.50 per hour with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to lead, direct and organize other people
• Previous janitorial/housekeeping experience preferred
• Previous supervisory training or experience is desired

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains a service culture that ensures the delivery of superior internal/external guest service by all team members
• Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures
• Knowledge of all promotions and events
• Faces, sides, tops and bases of machines wiped clean
• Floor clean of clutter and trash emptied
• Supervise staff members on your shift and ensure duties are performed to the best of each member’s ability
• Work hands-on with staff to enforce cleaning duties, policies, rules and Bally’s cleanliness standards
• Handle problems with employees and guests
• Answer radio calls and communicate professionally

• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains a service culture that ensures the delivery of superior internal/external guest service by all team members
• Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures
• Knowledge of all promotions and events
• Men’s & women’s restrooms cleaned and maintained
• Empty all trash in restrooms as well as on the casino floor, front lobby areas, and back of the house
• Associate Dinning Room maintained
• Faces, sides, tops and bases of machines wiped clean
• Floor clean of clutter
• Vacuum where designated
• Supervise staff members on your shift
• Ensure all duties and responsibilities are performed to the best of each staff member’s ability
• Work “hands on” with staff to ensure all cleaning duties and procedures, company policies, rules and regulations, and Jumer’s standards of cleanliness are enforced
• Help handle any problem situations with both employees and guests
• Answer radio calls and communicate professionally
• All other duties as assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled
• Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time
• Occasionally required to work at heights above 10 feet high
• Frequently required to lift items up to 30 pounds
• Occasionally required to push or move items up to 100 lbs
• Frequently required to reach overhead
