Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Dover, Delaware is seeking a housekeeping supervisor to lead cleaning operations and ensure guest-facing areas meet Bally's standards. You will supervise staff, enforce safety and cleanliness policies, and work hands-on to maintain restrooms, floors, machines, and public areas.

This role requires a high school diploma, union environment experience, and a Delaware Service License. Weekend/night shifts, lifting up to 30 pounds, and strong customer service are essential;

• Union representation with IUOE; terms defined by the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
• Excellent customer service skills (required).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required).
• High school graduate or equivalent (required).
• Ability to lead, direct and organize other people (required).
• Previous janitorial/housekeeping experience preferred (required).
• Previous supervisory training or experience is desired (required).

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains a service culture that ensures the delivery of superior internal/external guest service by all team members
• Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures
• Knowledge of all promotions and events
• Men's & women's restrooms cleaned and maintained
• Empty all trash in restrooms as well as on the casino floor, front lobby areas, and back of the house
• Associate Dinning Room maintained
• Faces, sides, tops and bases of machines wiped clean
• Floor clean of clutter
• Vacuum where designated
• Supervise staff members on your shift
• Ensure all duties and responsibilities are performed to the best of each staff member's ability
• Work "hands on" with staff to ensure all cleaning duties and procedures, company policies, rules and regulations, and Jumer's standards of cleanliness are enforced
• Help handle any problem situations with both employees and guests
• Answer radio calls and communicate professionally
• All other duties as assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

• Union Representation: This position is represented by IUOE and is subject to the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled
• Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time
• Occasionally required to work at heights above 10 feet high
• Frequently required to lift items up to 30 pounds
• Occasionally required to push or move items up to 100 lbs
• Frequently required to reach overhead

Target Salary Range

Starting Compensation:

• $18.50/hr
