Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to lead a team and uphold the highest cleanliness standards across casino, public areas and offices. You will oversee scheduling, training and daily operations to deliver WOW moments for guests.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of relevant experience in resort cleaning, a high school diploma, and a proven ability to coach and manage staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant prior experience.
• Experience in general cleaning within a resort environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of environmental services (EVS) employees, assist with scheduling, coaching, counseling, discipline and training.
• Manage employee questions and guest concerns to ensure department procedures and service standards are followed during shift.
• Provide direction to achieve highest cleanliness standards in the Casino, Public Areas, Offices and other areas.
• Conduct daily inspections, briefings and team updates; train and coach employees as needed and facilitate required compliance training.
• Prepare end-of-shift reports and address property maintenance issues with facilities.
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Assist with other administrative and operational functions in collaboration with department leadership.
