Job summary

Ocean-Casino-Resort is seeking a Shift Manager EVS to assist the EVS Manager in organizing operations for the EVS Department. You will oversee daily work on an assigned shift, drive safety, and support staffing, training, and performance initiatives within a high-volume resort environment.

The role requires strong supervisory and communication skills, with a focus on maintaining cleanliness, safety of staff handling chemicals, and coordination with other hotel departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of EVS or Housekeeping experience in a high-volume resort.
• Strong supervisory, management, planning & organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate good verbal & interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review EVS work to ensure productivity and quality of cleanliness.
• Oversee daily EVS operations on assigned shift and plan/schedule activities.
• Assist EVS Manager in hiring, scheduling, training, developing, evaluating and coaching.
• Ensure safety of team members handling chemicals and proper storage.
• Coordinate with other departments to keep public and storage areas functional.
• Monitor equipment, supplies, and payroll to control costs and efficiency.
• Administer OSHA/compliance training and complete daily property inspections.
• Handle guest/maintenance requests and follow up to Ocean Casino Resort standards.
