The role emphasizes safety compliance, punctuality, and effective communication with leadership. Strong problem-solving and bilingual or English proficiency are valued as you oversee shifts and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience in a high-volume facility (retail, casino, hotel, or public facility) in janitorial or executive housekeeping.
• A 2-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
• Must secure and maintain licensure as required by Virginia Gaming Control Board or applicable regulatory entity.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages scheduling of EVS work assignments and oversees completion.
• Oversee safety and security of guests and staff with proper supervision of staff and shift.
• Manage programs to reduce loss time injuries.
• Prepare scheduling and staffing levels to ensure proper shift coverage.
• Assist manager with employment interviews and provide input for performance evaluations.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards for safety, chemicals and blood borne pathogens and operation of cleaning equipment.
• Review EVS activities with EVS Manager.
• Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
