Job summary

Great River Resort & Casino in Burlington, IA is seeking a hands-on housekeeping supervisor to lead a crew, mentor by example, and ensure clean, safe environments for guests and staff. You will inspect areas, provide feedback, and oversee daily cleaning of casino floors, offices, restrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, and event spaces.

You will be responsible for ensuring guests have an exceptional experience through outstanding cleanliness and attention to detail, while supporting a benefits-ready

Job description

This is a 'hands-on' position responsible for directing, leading and mentoring by example a crew of housekeeping team members performing numerous cleaning and custodial duties.

• This person will inspect all work areas and provide feedback and guidance ensuring the entire facility meets our stringent standards and expectations. Providing and ensuring a clean and safe environment for all guests, and staff is critical.
• General daily duties include: cleaning of Casino floor, offices, restrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, event center.
• Ultimate responsibility is to ensure the customer is impressed with the cleanliness of our facility, and has an exceptional experience during their time in our facility.
