The role involves fast-paced, physically demanding work in a hospital setting, with potential assignment to morgue or COVID-19 units.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in healthcare environmental services or related leadership role.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Must demonstrate safe work practices and infection control.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train EVS staff; coordinate daily activities.
• Ensure staffing plans and project completion across hospital areas.
• Perform cleaning in patient rooms, specialty areas and common areas.
• Distribute linens and supplies; take inventories.
• Assist supervisor with QA inspections and performance feedback.
• Move furniture and set up rooms for meetings or events.
• Reassign staff to meet urgent needs and department priorities.
