Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona, is seeking a Senior EVS Associate to join Environmental Services. You will perform heavy cleaning, floor care, and specialized cleaning in clinical areas, with night shifts from 11:00pm to 7:30am, supporting a high-volume hospital environment.

The role requires reliability, ability to operate cleaning equipment, and leadership for less experienced staff. Prior healthcare cleaning experience is helpful, with training provided.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of diversified environmental service work experience in a health care or institutional setting.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment and perform cleaning techniques appropriate to healthcare.
• Basic math skills and effective written/oral communication.

Responsabilités

• Respond to cleaning requests via tracking systems and perform requested work.
• Conduct specialty cleaning and infection-control tasks in clinical areas and isolation rooms.
• Maintain equipment and logs; report repairs as needed.
• Assess facility conditions to ensure neatness, safety, and orderliness.
• Provide leadership for less experienced associates and assist with on-the-job training.
• Perform scheduled floor care procedures including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, and carpet extraction.
• Work under supervision with internal and external customers across the hospital.
