Qualifications

• Requires two or more years in healthcare environmental services.
• Must have leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of infection control and hand hygiene.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card preferred for certain Banner Health settings.

Responsabilités

• Ensures staffing plans are carried out and hospital-wide projects are planned.
• Performs cleaning in patient rooms, specialty and common areas.
• Trains and retrains Environmental Services staff; develops team members.
• Supervises in the absence of the leader; assigns work and moves staff as needed.
• Assists supervisor with Quality Assurance inspections and deficiencies.
• Distributes linens and supplies; takes inventories in assigned areas.
• Oversees daily activities of Environmental Services Associates and coordinates projects.
