Job summary

Skagit Valley Casino Resort in Bow, WA is seeking a Heavy Duty Cleaner to maintain the casino public areas and restrooms during the 11pm–7am shift. You may also back-up Hotel Housemen as needed, using extractor equipment, floor scrubbers, and other specialty machines.

Qualifications include 21+ years old, a HS diploma or GED, and experience with floor machines. Must follow verbal and written instructions and work weekends/holidays.

• High school diploma or GED or be able to perform the math, reading and comprehension requirements of the position.
• Previous knowledge of and experience with floor machines and cleaning equipment required.
• Must be able to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Must be available from 11pm - 7am, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning and maintain appearance of casino public areas and restrooms.
• Operate extractor, floor scrubber, shampoo and polishing machines, vacuums and scrubbers as needed; assist Hotel Housemen if required.

Our Heavy Duty Cleaner is responsible for deep cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the casino public areas and rest rooms. May also serves as backup to Hotel Housemen cleaning the public areas and rest rooms of the Hotel. This often requires use of extractor equipment, floor scrubber, shampoo machine, polishing machine, and special vacuum cleaners and scrubber.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED or be able to perform the math, reading and comprehension requirements of the position.
• Previous knowledge of and experience with floor machines and cleaning equipment required.
