Job summary

DISC Surgery Center in Thousand Oaks requires a per diem EVS Aide to keep patient areas, staff spaces and facilities clean and ready for procedures. You will assist with room turnover, case setup and specimen transport, while supporting the OR team with patient positioning and pre-op tasks.

The role requires prior EVS experience, infection control knowledge, and familiarity with OSHA guidelines; lifting up to 25 lbs is needed.

• Prior EVS background required, adhering to infection control guidelines and OSHA guidelines.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, equipment, and operating room protocols is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of the facility, patient care area and staff spaces.
• Handle specimen transport.
• Assist with room turnover and case setup.
• Assist in patient transfers to/from the OR, including discharge.
• Load, unload and stock supplies.
• Provide pre-op support and aid the OR team in positioning of patients and preparation.
