Job summary

Astrion is seeking an Earned Value Management (EVM) Subject Matter Expert to support the USAF SAOC program at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role leads EVM activities, analyzes data with Power BI, and coordinates with government and contractor teams on EVMS compliance.

Responsibilities include reviewing IPMDAR data, EACs, EVT applicability, and providing corrective actions; delivering EVM/IBR training; and ensuring adherence to DFARS, EIA-748, and DCMA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience presenting financial and EV data to other functions clearly.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of EV metrics and their impact on program finance.
• Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies.
• Ability to build professional relationships with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Earned Value Management Lead and coordinate with program leadership.
• Use Power BI to analyze data and provide updated dashboards to stakeholders.
• Assess EV data against baseline and ensure compliance with processes.
• Review IPMDAR and EVM-CR data, identify threshold breaches, and propose corrective actions.
• Review EACs for accuracy and flag optimistic/pessimistic assumptions.
• Analyze Budget Change Requests per EIA-748 guidance.
• Evaluate EVT for applicability to control accounts and performance measurement.
• Forecast contractor performance using EV and schedule data.
• Scrutinize schedules for critical path accuracy and DCMA standards.
• Support IBRs with risk IDs across IMP/IMS.
• Deliver EVM and IBR training to IPTs and contracting teams.
• Coordinate with financial mgmt to align funding with baselines and identify Anti-Deficiency Act risks.
• Serve as EVM liaison for audits and data requests.
• Monitor CDRLs for compliance and tailor instructions.
