Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to oversee control accounts, guiding scope, schedule, and budget across projects with strong EVM expertise. The role requires leadership across cross-functional teams and a solid understanding of program management methodologies.

Responsibilities include negotiating scope, schedules, and budgets, maintaining WBS/WAD documentation, and producing weekly insights on remaining durations and resource needs. Must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, project management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years' program management experience with scope, schedule, and budget responsibility.
• Expert level Earned Value Management (EVM) experience on DoD or DoE contracts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for assigned control accounts.
• Negotiate scope of work and document outcomes in WBS Dictionary and WAD.
• Negotiate schedules and lump-sum budgets for control accounts and update the WAD.
• Subdivide control account work into work packages for effective management.
• Work with scheduler to maintain resource-loaded schedules.
