Job summary

The Montgomery County Prosecuting Attorney's Office is seeking an Evidence Room/Records Manager to support attorneys and staff by maintaining organized case files and securing all evidence. The role requires meticulous record-keeping and strong coordination with diverse teams.

Responsibilities include maintaining chain of custody, transporting evidence, and generating weekly/monthly reports. Full-time position with benefits, including OPERS.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Customer service experience and computer experience are required; administrative experience preferred.
  • Must be trustworthy, dependable, organized, and meticulous with strong prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize case files; secure and organize all evidence.
  • Maintain chain of custody and transport evidence to meetings and courtrooms.
  • Prepare trial schedules and reports for staff and attorneys.
  • Create monthly parole board hearing schedules and distribute notices.
  • Perform background checks and interact professionally with staff and external agencies.
