Job summary

Oneida County Sheriff's Office in Wisconsin seeks a Property Room Technician/Investigative Analyst to manage the Evidence Room with the Evidence Custodian and support investigations through data analysis and records handling.

The role involves receiving and storing evidence, assisting in investigations, and providing technical and administrative support to the division. Training is provided; pre-employment screens are required. Opportunities include comprehensive fringe benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent and two years office experience OR two years in law enforcement or related area OR an Associate’s Degree in a related field.
• Ability to use computer and computer aided technology, prepare accurate reports, and maintain confidentiality.
• Ideal candidate will show initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background investigation required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control and accountability for the Evidence Room in conjunction with the Evidence Custodian.
• Receipt, storage, and custody of physical evidence and property.
• Assist in criminal investigations through collection, analysis, and admin support for electronic and analog records.
• Provide technical support to the Technical Support Division.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Two years office experience

Associate’s Degree in CS/IS/Programming or Criminal Justice
