Job summary

Harbor House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hingham, MA is seeking a Weekend Nursing Supervisor for Saturdays and Sundays. You will oversee nursing staff, welcome new admissions, oversee discharges, and coordinate care with families and central admissions.

Requirements include an active LPN or RN license with CPR certification, a nursing degree, and at least two years of clinical nursing experience (one year in long-term care).

Qualifications

• Must possess valid unencumbered RN or LPN license and CPR certification.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience, with at least one year in long-term care.
• Experience in supervision and teaching; computer skills encouraged.
• Rehabilitative/restorative nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges
• Supervise nurses and CNAs
• Manage staffing changes
• Support family inquiries and screen visitors
• Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions
• Ensure high quality resident/patient care
• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed

Requirements for Weekend Nursing Supervisor:

• Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License and current CPR certification
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
• Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting. Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care.
• Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills.
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred.
