Job summary

John Scott House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Braintree, MA seeks an Every Other Weekend Nursing Supervisor for Saturdays and Sundays. The role supports admissions, discharges, staffing, and family inquiries, ensuring high-quality resident care and smooth operations on weekends.

Qualified candidates hold an LPN or RN license with CPR certification, a nursing degree, and at least two years in clinical nursing, including long-term care.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid unencumbered LPN or RN license and CPR certification.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience in hospital, nursing care center, or related healthcare setting; minimum one year in long-term care.
• Experience in supervision and teaching; computer skills.
• Experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges.
• Supervise nurses and CNAs.
• Manage staffing changes.
• Support family inquiries and screen visitors.
• Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions.
• Ensure high-quality resident/patient care.
• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed.
