Job summary

A city government organization is seeking a Recreation Rental & Event Coordinator to oversee facility rentals and events. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least two years of relevant experience, and a team-player attitude. The position offers a pay range of $52,092 to $60,000 per year and excellent benefits including a new Vacation Program with paid time off from day one.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Recreation Administration, Leisure Management, or a related field.
• At least two (2) years of experience in Recreation and Facility Operations, Event Coordination, or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and rentals at the Lodge at Ironwoods and Amphitheater.
• Promote the City’s rental space options for public use.
• Assist with rentals and daily operations at other City facilities.
• Coordinate the Recreation Department’s Special Events.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate assigned recreational staff.
• Assist the department in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
