Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno Libraries is seeking a Manager, Events and Production to lead event media technology efforts and oversee live productions for university events, coordinating equipment, staff, and studio operations.

The role requires evaluating needs, planning deployment, and autonomously resolving on-site challenges to protect the university's image across stakeholders and guests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of related professional work experience.
• Master's Degree with 2 years of related work experience.
• Related experience: Event media technology coordination and support.

Responsibilities

• Consult with campus clients to assess an event’s media technology requirements.
• Develop plans to fulfill various event needs, including procurement of equipment and additional staff, as well as system test-bedding and component evaluation.
• Determine field and studio production equipment and personnel requirements by participating in preproduction meetings.
• Coordinate and oversee the operation of production equipment in the field and in studios.
• Triage requests for maintenance, coordinate with Facilities Maintenance Services for building maintenance.
• Schedule and coordinate equipment and staffing.
• Supervision of staff and students in the execution of campus events and field production.
