Job summary
UNLV TV is seeking a Manager/Producer to oversee UNLV TV operations, supervise staff, and coordinate both studio and field productions for funded media projects. Qualifications
- This position requires a Master’s degree in Journalism, Communication, Media Studies, or a related field from an accredited college or university and 3-5 years of experience.
- Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.
- Experience supervising staff and managing budgets is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage UNLV TV operations and oversee the video production facility and productions.
- Coordinate studio and field productions with campus and community partners.
- Supervise professional staff and allocate resources for funded projects.
- Teach one undergraduate video journalism course each semester.
- Coordinate invoicing with JMS director and assistant business manager.
