Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is seeking an events professional to serve as the primary liaison between clients and venue operations, overseeing planning and execution of meetings, conferences, and special events.

You will coordinate logistics, develop BEOs, timelines, and diagrams, and collaborate with Sales, Facilities, IT, Security, Operations, and vendors to ensure seamless events and post-event follow-ups. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Food Service or Hospitality or related field.
• At least two years’ experience in managing catering for events.
• Experience coordinating meetings, conferences, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all event logistics from start to finish.
• Develop and manage BEOs, timelines, and room diagrams.
• Coordinate with Sales, Facilities, IT, Security, Operations and vendors to ensure successful event execution.
• Conduct post-event evaluations and gather client feedback.
• Maintain event documentation including invoices and vendor agreements.
• Ensure event spaces and equipment are clean, organized, and ready for events.
• Oversee inventory management of event equipment and supplies.
