Job summary

Eurasia Group is seeking an experienced event operations professional to support the logistics and execution of conferences and events. This role involves coordinating venue logistics, AV, catering, registration, transportation, and on-site staffing in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in event operations, a related Bachelor's degree, and strong organizational skills. The role may require travel for events (approximately 20-30%).

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in event operations, event coordination, event logistics, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on experience coordinating logistics for professional events (conferences, corporate events, roundtables, dinners, lunch etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operational aspects of events including venue logistics, catering, audio-visual, registration, transportation, and accommodations.
• Assist with floor plans, room layouts, signage, and space flow planning.
• Research and coordinate with venues, caterers, AV companies, and other service vendors.
• Support on-site operations and coordinate event staff, and vendor personnel.
• Track operational expenses and assist with budget management.
• Maintain and update operational documents and standard procedures.
