Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Event Manager to coordinate and execute complex events at our Pomona property. You will partner with Sales, hotel departments and clients to ensure high-level service through pre-event, event and post-event phases, while identifying opportunities to up-sell and enhance overall guest experiences.

The role emphasizes seamless turnover from sales to service and back to sales, with responsibilities ranging from planning to on-site management and post-event

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years of experience in event management or related professional area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; at least 1 year experience in the event management or related professional area required.

Responsabilités

• Manage event logistics and operations to ensure seamless execution.
• Greet clients during the event phase and hand-off to Event Operations for detailed execution.
• Ensure billing accuracy and review final bills with clients.
