Job summary

Miami Beach Hotel Group is seeking a passionate Events Manager to drive event sales, coordinate logistics, and deliver seamless on-site execution for hotel and restaurant events. You will work with clients, chefs, banquet teams, and operations staff to ensure revenue targets are met while exceeding guest expectations.

The role involves managing inquiries, site visits, proposals, contracts, and budgets, with responsibility for coordinating timelines, vendor relations, décor, AV, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• 2-5+ years of experience in hotel, restaurant, or hospitality event management.
• Proven track record in event sales and revenue generation.
• Strong knowledge of food & beverage operations.
• Experience using event management or hotel booking systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
• Conduct site visits and client consultations; prepare proposals and event packages.
• Negotiate contracts and manage deposits/payments.
• Plan and coordinate weddings, private dining events, corporate meetings, and social functions.
• Develop event timelines, floor plans, and BEOs; coordinate with kitchen, bar, decor, and AV.
• Oversee on-site event setup/breakdown and act as primary point of contact.
• Track event revenue and achieve sales targets; monitor budgets and control costs.
• Conduct post-event follow-ups and gather client feedback.
