Job summary

Andaz Miami Beach is seeking an Event Sales Manager to lead the sale and execution of corporate and social events, including weddings and galas. The role involves end-to-end lifecycle management, from inquiry through contracting, planning and on-site execution.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in hospitality event management, strong client relationships, and ability to work with cross-functional hotel teams to deliver high-touch experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in hotel catering sales, event sales, convention services, or hospitality event management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with Hyatt systems, commercial strategies, and brand standards.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Full-service hotel or event venue experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service corporate and social events, including weddings and galas, managing the full lifecycle from inquiry to execution.
• Review contracts, conduct hotel tours, and coordinate with clients and hotel teams before, during, and after events to ensure seamless service.
• Build and maintain client relationships, participate in meetings, and collaborate with Sales and Events teams.
• Meet revenue goals through proactive lead generation, client outreach, and conversions of inquiries.
• Represent Andaz Miami Beach at industry events to cultivate new business relationships.
• Collaborate with Events Operations, Revenue Management, Marketing and other departments for exceptional events.
• Utilize sales systems and reporting tools to support business development.
• Eligible for a quarterly incentive plan based on revenue and customer service goals.
