You will book new shows, engage attendees to generate leads, recruit and train staff, coordinate schedules, and track performance, budget, and inventory weekly. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required, as is weekend availability, and residency in the San Jose/Chatsworth area.

Qualifications

• Team management and leadership experience required.
• Customer service or B2C marketing experience.
• Recruiting and hiring experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.
• Ability to stand for extended hours at event booths.
• Basic computer literacy for administrative reporting.
• Must live in the San Jose, CA/Chatsworth, CA area and work every weekend.

Responsibilities

• Find and book new shows and events for weekends in your territory.
• Engage event patrons at booths to generate leads and schedule appointments.
• Recruit, train, and manage the Event Demonstrators team.
• Ensure promotional booths are set up and removed after shows and events.
• Plan, coordinate, and organize schedules for events and team.
• Track productivity, labor, inventory, and budget weekly.
• Set and pursue goals for each event, week, and month.
• Maintain open communication with supervision and other departments.

True North Kitchen & Bathis seeking a rockstar team leader ready to develop, manage, and lead an Event Department and team of demonstrators in promoting our industry-leading home improvement brand in-person at shows and events throughout Southern California

You and your team of demonstrators willbe responsible forgenerating new prospective customers through promoting and selling our products and services in promotional booths at theareaevents, fairs, and festivalseverybody'sstalking about!

As anEventsManager, your responsibilities will include:

• Find and book new shows and events for every weekend within your designated territory todemonstratein.
• Engage event patrons at these event booths to generate leads & schedule appointments that generate sales and profit.
• Recruit, hire, train,mentor, and manage your team of Event Demonstrators who work alongside you.
• Ensure these promotional booths are set up beautifully and removed from these shows & events.
• Plan, coordinate,and organize schedules and calendars for you, your events, and your team.
• Weeklymaintain, track, and report your department's productivity, labor, inventory, and budget.
• Set and ensure goals for each event, week, and month are achieved.
• Keep open, regular, and prompt communication with supervision and other departments.

Requirements

• Team Management & Leadership experience
• Customer Service or Business-to-Customer Marketing experience
• Recruiting & Hiring experience as this will be a regular focus
• Great interpersonal skills: You mustwantto talk with new people andcustomers, andbe decent at it!
• Valid Driver's License & YourOwnReliable Vehicle.
• Ability to stand for extended hours while engaging customers at event booths.
• At least basic computer literacy for administrative and reporting duties.
