Job summary

True North Kitchen & Bath is seeking a rockstar team leader to develop, manage, and lead an Event Department with demonstrators promoting our home improvement brand at shows and events across Northern California. You and your team will generate new prospective customers by promoting and selling products in promotional booths at area events, fairs, and festivals, driving leads and appointments.

This role requires weekend work, travel within the region, and strong leadership to recruit and mentor

Qualifications

• Team management and leadership experience.
• Customer service or B2C marketing experience.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.
• Ability to stand for extended hours at events.
• Basic computer literacy for reporting and administration.

Responsibilities

• Find and book new shows and events within the territory, including weekends.
• Engage event patrons to generate leads and schedule sales appointments.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage the team of Event Demonstrators.
• Ensure promotional booths are set up attractively and dismantled after events.
• Plan schedules for events and team, coordinating calendars.
• Monitor and report department productivity, labor, inventory, and budget.
• Set and achieve goals for events, weeks, and months.
• Maintain open communication with supervision and other departments.

True North Kitchen & Bath is seeking a rockstar team leader ready to develop, manage, and lead an Event Department and a team of demonstrators in promoting our industry‑leading home improvement brand in‑person at shows and events throughout Northern California.

You and your team of demonstrators will be responsible for generating new prospective customers through promoting and selling our products and services in promotional booths at the area events, fairs, and festivals everyone’s talking about!

Responsibilities

• Find and book new shows and events for every weekend within your designated territory to demonstrate in.
• Engage event patrons at these event booths to generate leads and schedule appointments that generate sales and profit.
• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage your team of Event Demonstrators.
• Ensure these promotional booths are set up beautifully and removed from these shows and events.
• Plan, coordinate, and organize schedules and calendars for you, your events, and your team.
• Weekly maintain, track, and report your department’s productivity, labor, inventory, and budget.
• Set and ensure goals for each event, week, and month are achieved.
• Keep open, regular, and prompt communication with supervision and other departments.

Requirements

• Team Management & Leadership experience.
• Customer Service or Business‑to‑Customer Marketing experience.
• Recruiting & Hiring experience as this will be a regular focus.
• Great interpersonal skills: must be able to talk with new people and customers.
• Valid Driver’s License & own reliable vehicle.
• Ability to stand for extended hours while engaging customers at event booths.
• Basic computer literacy for administrative and reporting duties.
• Must live in the San Jose, CA/Chatsworth, CA area.
• Must be willing to work every weekend.

Helpful Skills

• Promotional marketing experience at events is a big plus, but not required.
